Rainwater proof canvas roof. Solid wood sidings and flooring. Full glass sliding door.
Though the unit is fitted with a canvas roof, it remains cool inside due to an optimum side ventilation system and an open cupola.   

Easy to accommodate by yourself with a bathroom/toilet and/or partitions. Possibility to add extra windows. Ideal for large quantities. The unit can be assembled in just a few days, is very easy to dismantle and to re-assemble in any other place. No need to prepare a concrete foundation, since unit can be placed straight on top of natural grade (provided the subsoil has sufficient bearing capacity). We will provide a special anchor system as to protect the unit from uplift in windy conditions. The roof structure is strong enough to later allow you to change the canvas with terracotta roof tiles or any other roof decking material.

This model was specially designed to serve as a single small family dwelling, easily to be extended with an extra bedroom section to accommodate guests. 

For the use in a resort it may be decided to remove the kitchen and add the space to the living area in the event the resort has its own restaurant or cafetaria facilities.

The hallway from living to bedroom(s) can be re-adjusted both in length and direction.

This model was specially designed around two existing antique Joglo cores ("kerangka's"). The Karangka's are some 80 years old and where obtained by our company years ago to serve as the center cores for a Joglo house design.  The pictures below show the antique Keranka's which were used in this design. The lay out of the interior can be changed at random to the wishes of the client, provided the total length of the partitions walls remain the same or become less.
  
Joglo is a traditional vernacular house of the Javanese. It consist of two parts; the pendopo and dalem. The pendopo is the outer section of the Joglo that have large roofed space with columns and without wall or partition. The dalem (kerangka) is traditionally the inner section with walled enclosure and rooms such as bedroom and kitchen. Pendopo is used to receive guests, reception hall and living room, while the inner dalem are more private sections of the house. The term "Joglo" is often used to refer the distinctive type of Javanese roof with rising central part of roof supported by four or more main wooden columns (saka guru). The outer row of columns with rectangular plan created expansion spaces. The roof formed a pyramid-like structure with central part are taller and steeper. It is said that the roof of Joglo is constructed to mimic a mountain.
We used the dalem (kerangka) as a special dining space rather than have it fully sided.
